Katys Festival Classes

Soul of Yoga

Saturday 15-16:30
Take this moment to place yourself outside the frenzied pace of life. Slow down long enough to appreciate again – birds in flight, the sound of your breath and birdsong.
Follow your heart into the centre of the pose and find in the midst of detail, precision, alignment, balance, bliss, fear, sadness – deeply realize the soul of this practise, what the gift and true meaning of it is.
Within this class we will alter our defined solid state to one that is flowing liquid grace of calm and clarity. Within this practice we will come home again.

Lakshmi Heart Flow

Sunday 14-15:30
Lakshmi is the Goddess of beauty, good health and abundance, she is the holder of good fortune and success rendering her one of the most popular heroines of Indian myths. In this class we will explore how to invite more “shri”, more beauty and auspiciousness into our lives, to the backdrop of the stories surrounding her. By cultivating gratitude and a sense of receiving in Lakshmi’s spirit we will move deeply into the hips and heart before we move into a sweet savasana.
